Delia Paul
Writer/Editor Earth Negotiations Bulletin
Delia Paul is a Team Leader and Writer with Earth Negotiations Bulletin, as well as a communications manager and advisor on various international projects in Southeast Asia. She joined the ENB team in December 2010, covering a range of negotiations in the governance of water, biodiversity, genetic resources and sustainable development. She has witnessed and reported on sustainable development negotiations for over a decade, including regular coverage of UN Environment Assemblies, the Rio+20 summit, and the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Outside of ENB, she manages communications for international development organizations, including previous roles at World Vision and the Mekong River Commission. Her book, The Living Mekong, was published with WWF and the Mekong River Commission in 2009. She has a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, UK. A Malaysian citizen, she lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she is working towards a PhD in human geography at Monash University, focusing on the role of civil society actors in the multi-level governance of water.
